I’m posting this poem I wrote years ago. It’s about longing for days gone by.

White Clouds and Green Grass

Sometimes I listen to the clouds talking about me.

They say I’m coming to know them.

I feel empty when they are gone.

Clouds of yesterday bring forth once more.

Green glades of yesteryear bring forth your majesty.

I feel your loneliness once more.

Yearning to walk along beside you I feel you call me to you.

But to nevermore will I see you, gone but a memory of things gone past.
