About Me

My Interests

25393320

I'd like to meet:

Nimeni on...

Name: Anna Valo
Nicknames: Countess Nocturna-Fornicator of Spiders
Age: 356 (that's 19 in mortal years)
Occupation:Jedi/Vampire/Gangster
Music:Let's just say I favor the Finns.
Orientation: Bisexual
Status: Rigormortis... I mean, Single.ale.creations.pill-pop.net

I have secrets. My heart is adorned with rips and scars. My biggest flaw is jealousy.
I have a son named Sakari Alexander whom I love more than life itself.
I don't take kindly to mind games. I hate people who think their head is above anyone else's. I don't like liars, but they seem to love me. I think that it's a waste of time to try and look for love; it's a losing battle. I'm pretty genuine and honest. I don't mess around. I speak my intentions. I know I'm not perfect. And most importantly... I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, even if it winds up hurting me.There's No Sympathy For the Dead

I've been in love once, tricked by it twice, and I'm not looking for it again... I'm letting it find me. I think there is one person out there for everyone, reguarless of who you are. I don't know who mine is yet, but I hope to find him someday. For now, I'm happy just finding out who I am and loving me.

Smashed Into Pieces

I have a Finnish Fetish. I love Finns, Finland, and the Finnish language. I run a street team for a Finnish band called Frail and have big dreams for them and hope one day they make it to American shores.

In a Win, Win Situation

I've noticed your design
Cause I'm not blind
I'm like a cigarette
Burning burning every night
But there's no ash that falls
There's only telephone calls in the afternoon
Stretching through a thousand walls

So I'll pray
For words to say
To make these miles disappear

If you can't sleep alone (If you can't sleep alone)
I'm better off (alone)
I'm better off
If you can't sleep alone

If you're measuring with time
In seconds or in lifetimes
There's no difference
It's constantly just passing by
But there's nothing at all
No valium or slow songs
To relax my view
Just you, maybe your new perfume

So I'll pray
For words to say
To make these miles disappear

If you can't sleep alone (if you can't sleep alone)
I'm better off (alone)
I'm better off
If you can't hear the song (if you can't hear the song)
Then turn it off (the song)
Then turn if off
If you cast that first stone
Then throw them all
Then throw them all

I start to sleep but it's not over
The second hand is moving slower now
I'd take it all back
To start over again
Just between the rock and paper
The scissors cut in so much deeper
I'd take it all back
To start over again

Music:

I'm going to bitch a minute to HIM haters. Don't think HIM sucks just because you've only heard "Wings of a Butterfly". I'm a HUGE HIM fan and even I despise that song. Dark Light is HIM's "Americanized" CD. Listen to they're earlier stuff like "Greatest Lovesongs vol. 666" (it's not Satanic, I swear.), "Razorblade Romance" or "Love Metal" and you will probably see what I mean. You can't tell me that their covers of "Wicked Game" (Chris Isaak) or "Don't Fear The Reaper" (Blue Oyster Cult) aren't amazing. They've even done various covers of Black Sabbath, Billy Idol, Neil Diamond, Depeche Mode, and many others. I admire versatility.
Ville. "I am here for you."
Even though Ariel hates you.

Finnish bands, of course... But it's not just because the Finnish are beautiful people, it's also the darker element of music they possess. It's not for everyone, but the one's who get it are rewarded with the most amazing experience in the end. Most people like the sugary tones of pop or the explicit content of rap... But the deep lyrics of the music I love can be a little hard to swallow for some. I listen to music that I love, and not what everyone else is listening to. I listen to the music with a strong message and a powerful voice. I listen to something that just makes me sit in awe for hours. That, my darlings, is real music. I also enjoy music in different languages (of couse mainly in Finnish). "Auta Mua" by PMMP is a very good song and the lyrics are phenomenal especially in English... If you ever listen to a song over and over in a different language and then see the lyrics in English, it becomes a very rewarding experience. Sometimes you can get alot more out of something by not knowing what it means and then learning it later on.

Lauri Ylonen of The Rasmus...

Ville Valo of HIM...

Movies:

Prey For Rock and Roll:
Someone special gave me this movie.
A Clockwork Orange:
No time for the old in-out-in-out, love.
Star Wars:
May the force be with you.
Rent:
No day but today.
Moulin Rouge:
The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and be loved in return.
The Island:
Renivatio
Orgazmo:
I don't mean to sound queer or nothin', but I think unicorns are kickass!
Baseketball:
Haven't seen it yet... But I love Matt Stone.
Team America:
Cause Pearl Harbor sucked... and I miss you. (I haven't met a Matt Stone/Trey Parker movie I don't like.)
This is Spinal Tap:
But these go to Eleven.
My Favorite Actor--Ewan McGregor:
It all started with Star Wars and ended with McGregor.

Television:

Malcolm in the Middle, Macabre Theater (Tennebre aka Unsane was awesome!), South Park, The-N, Fuse... and of course, my story "As The World Turns" because Bubbles (Katie), Henry, and Nick (who is very VERY beautiful...) are a big reason worth watching. They're pretty good actors... For soaps, that is.

Books:

I love Beatrice Spark's books, and Go Ask Alice. They rock it. My fave book is The Phantom Tollbooth which I read like in 6th grade, but I've loved it ever since. I love this one book that Ariel showed me that consists of alot of Luis Royo's works. Also "What is Goth" is essential reading for the dark hearts... And lastly Anthony Burgess is my hero. "A Clockwork Orange" and "The Wanting Seed" are mind-blowing. RIP, Mr. Burgess.

Heroes:

Anthony Burgess, simply because he was a more brilliant mind than anyone has ever seemed to recognize. It's amazing how he took what he knew from other languages and formed his own. If you've read "A Clockwork Orange" or "The Doctor is Sick" you'd know what I mean. Sadly, some of his reading material has been banned from various places such as schools and even England itself. You have to see the beauty of the writing, not the evil in the violence. It's intended for enjoyment, not propoganda.
John Fitzgerald Kennedy, because I think this country was happier when he was president. He helped Martin Luther King on his quest for rights and equality for blacks, not to mention his other countless acts that he enforced while president. He was very charming, and stood up for alot of great causes.
I think he was a hardcore player, too, lol.
Hugh Marston Hefner: I know this will get some buzz, but I like Hef because he came from nothing and created this huge magazine that still circulates today. For those of you who are completely moronic, that magazine is Playboy, a notorious men's magazine. It's amazing how he went from a degree in psychology to Playboy. Hmmm.
Ville Hermanni Valo:
(I can almost see Ariel scrolling away. lol.) There is no question about "Mr. Light", he's a musical genius. He takes music of all types, no less, and turns them into gold. His voice is like spun silk, with coarse edges. He's no dumbass either, and I admire that. Even after all the fame and fortune he treats his fans with respect and doesn't act like a wanker.
Long live the light. Anna Valo.

He’s Perfection
