About Me

CESAR (KAOS)From all around the world I've been in to music since I was 5. First heard Smoke On The Water and Blinded By The Light (Manfred Mann version) and it just pulled me in. Watching KISS on TV showed me how big rock and roll was and is to today. Growing up an a healthy dose of Deep Purple, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Stones, and Queen made my love for music more intense. When I discovered AC/DC, I so totally flipped and wanted to be like Angus Young. That guy put fuel to the fire. With the likes of Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Mick Mars, and other 80's guitar players, I went and got my first guitar. For years I played on and off never really getting serious enough. After watching PANTERA live, all that changed. There was the icon of all guitar players. DIMEBAG DARRELL. This MOfo could shred and command the stage better than anyone. Thats what real guitar playing is. I tried my hand at this. Meetin Rob Cavestany from Deathangel helped with the best advice I ever got. "play it like you mean it". I may not be the best player by far, but I'll take your head off... Guitars:IBANEZ (2 Xyphos, 1 Destroyer, 1 Iceman.)...Amplifier: LANEY (VH100R.)...Effects ( DigiTech Synth-Wah, Dunlop Slash Wah, DigiTech Whammy, Line6 Echo Park, Dunlop Vibrato, DigiTech Chorus, MXR Dime Distortion. Controlled by Boss TU-2 Tuner, MXR Smart Gate, and MXR DC Brick power supply). ____________________________________________________________ __ JOHN (MR. HORSEPOWER)....OK..how did I get here? I started playing Bass when I was 13 and have been a bassist ever since. I've gone through the " I wanna play in a band / I don't wanna play in a band " routine several times over the years. Cesar and my loving wife Amy started beating me down about getting me back into an active " Band " sitution a little over a year ago. I'm glad I listened to them. My early influences included Cream, Moutain, Grand funk Railroad, and Yes. I listened to ANYTHING with the bass player in your face. In later years I morphed over to the Jazz side of music and learned of such wonderful players such as Jeff Berlin, Stanley Clarke, and the grandmaster, Jaco(RIP) whom did nothing but encourage me to be a better player. Then I discovered Les Claypool, Billy Sheenhan, and Fieldy from Korn and relized I'll probably never stop playing. I've done the LongIsland club circut over the past 20 years and have done well. While I'm not the most "technical " bassist you'll hear, I do promise this: You WILL hear me. Hence my nickname Mr. Horsepower. Between my love of Muscle Cars and the desire to see nails back out of the walls when i play, I guarantee if your not moving when we play, WE'RE not the problem.....My current arsenal includes and seriously Hot-Rodded American made Fender Precision Califorina Special 4 string, a Yamaha RBX-775 active 5 string, and an active Schecter Stilleto 8 string. Ampilifcation courtesy of Gallien-Kruger. Effects include Chorus, Overdrive, and the desire to see things vibrate across the room. Involuntary bowel movements are a plus......... ____________________________________________________________ ____MIKEY (THE ROCK HAMMER) - DRUMS......................WOW - that was weird.......Been studying and analyzing music since I was 10 - I've had non stop 16th notes in my head since I was 12. Every day is a ++ gift ++ - not a right. Tomorrow is not a guarantee...I stopped taking life for granted back in 1998. When you put life in the proper perspective - it flows smooth. He who dies with the most laughs accrued over their lifetime wins....I do not say "remember back in the day?"...because - this IS THE DAY. I'm told I'm ++ legally ++ insane....thank you thank you thank you Jimmy - John & Cesar for this opportunity...You guys are very talented..I LOVE listening to you guys play....I am truly in awe of your talents....I really love jamming with you guys. Special thanks to Steve at Sound Beach Music and Pearl drums - for the kit of my dreams, Zildjian cymbals for my hearing loss and to the Suffolk County Police Department for their repeated interruptions of my youth. Thank you to the beautiful women I've been very lucky and fortunate to get to know & spend time with, and thanks mom for the non stop 60's and 70's music in the car, the kitchen and the family room when I was growing up. Thanks mom for never once complaining that I was playing too loud in the basement after school for hours on end - with the live "The Song Remains The Same" soundtrack thundering through the stereo speakers as I played along....Mom, I think your John Lennon "Imagine" record was one of the first musical selections I listened to by my own accord - it instantly affected me....thank you for that._______________________________________________________ ____

Unforunatly Jimmy has left the band. We wish him well. It's a big and trying moment in time. He is still our brother. He will rise again. But we must go on. Our lives are shaped by those that we meet.
