Got my start in this world just outside Dover, NJ, then moved to Laurel, MD when I was 3. Back in those days Laurel used to be a nice place. Now it's more like Manhattan Island in Escape From New York with a president you wouldn't try and find.
In the salad days of my youth I spent way too much time ingesting old Universal monster movies and late night BBC comedies - which, by the way, if I run across an episode of Fawlty Towers or Blackadder today I'll still drop most things.
I've had the veritable Buckaroo Banzai list of jobs in my life but have settled down into what I really like: film and video production, where I get to do my best Ed Wood impressions on a nearly daily basis. Music has always been important with me since my younger band days where I'd study for hours on end the Bass stylings of Yes, Rush and Iron Maiden, before shaking my glamrock hair in front of a couple dozen friends at weekend keggers. I still play a bit since my brother's band (The Nth Degree) keeps me in their rolodex for fill ins.
My perfect world would include lots of music, movies, art, seafood and beer. Wait, that IS my world...
