TRE’ official biography…Good things come in small packages over 70,000 screaming young girls have proven that to be true. Weighing in at birth at a precious 2lbs 2 oz’s just 15 years ago, Lil TRE’ or TRE’ as he is now known to his fans, is not letting his small past determine his giant future.TRE’ has been on a non-stop mission to the top since early 2005 when he completed recording his first two singles “That Girl” and “Baby Girl” for his family run Sel-Sum Records imprint. He landed a major retail distribution deal with F2F/FYE and began a whirlwind promotional tour visiting nearly every FYE retail outlet in the South East and Georgia gaining thousands of fans and radio airplay along the way.His debut singles “That Girl” and “Baby Girl”, sold over 70,000 units and earned TRE’ a slot on BillBoard’s Hot/R&B/Hip-HOP Singles Sales Chart for over 32 consecutive weeks. In February ’06 TRE’s “Baby Girl” knocked Chris Brown’s “Run It” out of the 1 spot on Billboard and remained there for 2 weeks. TRE’ would go on to earn the 1 spot two more times on Billboard.TRE’ has already toured the R&B/Scream/Bubble Gum” circuit with teen heartthrob piers, Bow Wow, B5, Nick Cannon, and Lil Romeo to name a few . He has performed on the “Teen Jamz” tour with David Banner and Marcus Houston; The 2005 Coca Cola Summerscope tour with a standing ovation spot at NYC’s famed Apollo; the NYC Health Jamz School Tour; and The Doug Banks Black Heritage Festival with B5. One of TRE’s most exciting promotional tour stops along the way was being invited to open for Teddy Riley & Blackstreet at New York’s Madison Square Garden. TRE’ has also joined forces with teen machine powerhouse Disney, performing for Radio Disney’s Noon Year’s Eve Ball; Radio Disney’s Magical Night of Entertainment in Disney; and for the Radio Disney – Kidgetts Book Blast. He is currently the honorary chairperson for the Children’s Restoration Network, CRN (www.childrn.org). CRN is a non-profit organization with a mission to offer hope and support to homeless children and their mothers. With TRÉ’s support and involvement, homeless children started the school year with books and school supplies. TRE’ performed concerts on behalf of CRN where admission was school supplies and brand new book bags, which were later, delivered to the children in the homeless shelters.
