Let’s be honest. I’m not cool or big enough to have someone run my page. So I won’t try to write this thing in 3rd person to make it look like I am. So…. I’m Ryan Weber, a singer/songwriter originally from a small farming town in Wisconsin. I love songwriting and performing. You can see that I have a unique style of music. I would have to say that I love writing complicated or unique ( there’s that word again!!!!!) lyrics. The songs like "Move On", and "Light It up Again" were songs that I had been working on for the last two years, trying to form a consistency in my writing and sound that I wanted to develop. I usually end up writing a song first myself (in the case of these two) and then I can be open to some changes or tweaks to the Melody and sometimes arrangements. I like to know that the heart of the song, the lyrics, portray the message I want to deliver. “Someday†is a great exception because it was written from the heart. More or less a feeling of confusion, disgust, and reasoning that I hope was conveyed in this artistic expression.... So all of this has been an awesome opportunity to share my music. And a little background about my journey starts out like this... A couple years ago I was offered a record deal with an independent label that went face down. So to say the least, I lost the deal. However it was an awesome opportunity to meet and work with some of the best songwriters in Nashville. Personally,I’m the biggest geek ever! I’m the guy singing 80’s pop tunes going down the freeway…and dancing. Normal is out the window anytime the “robot†has made its way into the front seat driving down Interstate 40 in Nashville!! Anything that is out of the ordinary, or not of that “normâ€, fascinates me!!! I have fun with life and don’t take myself to seriously. Right now I’ve got a couple songs that have been brought to the attention of major labels and I’m just waiting and working towards and for the next great opportunity that is definitely on its way!!!!!!
