Hi my name is Robin Souma, I'm a native of the West Coast. I began my career in image making by studying Broadcasting and Visual Design.Then on a whim I took a class in photography and never looked back... I had found my passion! I changed my course to study photography, and in 2006 received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Oregon. After graduating, I sold all of my belongings, packed up my convertible, and drove cross country to New York City to embark on my photography career. Influenced by the wilds of Oregon, my love of nature is apparent in my pursuit of photographing people. Shooting with a love of natural light and landscape, my work in portraiture is often shot in the environment. Living in New York city, I now aim to mix fashion photography with the urban landscape - creating images that reflect one's natural beauty within a sense of place. I am available for private commissioned work, commercial/ad photography, catalog fashion photography, model portfolio development, editorial shoots, portrait shoots and promotional photography for bands.
