The goal of this MySpace page is to compile a massive collection of DSM enthusiests, hopefully all of the DSM enthusiests on MySpace! If this is your first time visiting the DSM MySpace page let me introduce DSM. 1986 is when the revolution began, in 1988 is when their first 2 mass-produced vehicles emerged; the Mitsubishi Eclipse and Plymouth Laser. (Talon was third produced;1989) DSM stands for Diamond-Star Motors. It was Mitsubishi and Crysler combining as one force to produce what was at the time one of the worlds fastest production vehicles. At the time beating the fastest Porche! It was an organization fabreicating numerous performance inspired engines, that wasen't fucking around. Including the legandary 4G63 and/or 4G63T. the 4G63/T is a Dual Overhead Cam, 16-valve Turbo-charged motor pushing a base 195HP
1G(TSi,GSX,GSturbo,RSturbo) 210HP 2G(TSi,GSX,GS-T) 140HP 1G(ES,GS,RS) yet the 1G Talon/Eclipse/Laser, is preffered for race qualitys over the 2G. Please note that the 2G Eclipse/Talon ESi,GS or RS is NOT a DSM, it's a Crysler motor (non-turbo) The 4G63 can also be found in the Lancer Evolution, Galant VR-4 and the Hyundai Excel, each packing differant dyno numbers. A good thing to remember is that the 4G63T is a de-tuned Evolution motor. Although Diamond Star Motors seizes to exist, it's work will be carried on and enjoyed by millions to come. Help spread the word of this MySpace web page...do anything you can, if you can afford to place DSM on your Top-Friends, that would be the most benneficial hence the advertisment. As for being on the DSM "Top-Friends" if you would like to be placed on the Top-Friends, your car MUST (and I stress the MUST) be your profile picture, and if you we're on the Top-Friends, and removed, it was probably becasue you either put a picture of yourself or something that was not a DSM. Also if you would like your spot on the Top-Friends, send a message to us requesting a spot, and we will decide whether or not your profile pic of your DSM will be "hott" enough to display as a Top-Friend. Any questions just ask. ::NOTE:: If you do not drive/own/envy the DSM community (i.e.) you drive a Honda, Nissan, Ford, Dodge etc. and can't appreciate DSM's, GET THE FU*K out, no one want's you here with you and your slow aura!
