One night I had a dream. I was walking along the beach with the Lord, and across the skies flashed scenes from my life. In each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One was mine, and one was the Lord's. When the last scene of my life appeared before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand, and, to my surprise, I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only one set of footprints. And I noticed that it was at the lowest and saddest times in my life. I asked the Lord about it: "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way. But I notice that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why you left my side when I needed you most." The Lord said: "My precious child, I never left you during your time of trial. Where you see only one set of footprints, I was carrying you."

I love my family and friends. I just got married August 11, 2007 and I have started my own family with my beautiful and loving wife Carley and my step-son Orin. I am very blessed and thankful for having them come into my life. As for me personaly I am gregarious by nature and I have a good sense of humor. I do my best to keep a laid back easy going mentality. I don't have any hobbies but what I am really passionate about is work. I am a residential designer for a company here in Raleigh. Although I do not always love coming to work, who does, I do love my job and the people that I get to work with. Architecture is all around us and my mind is always busy with what I see. A new found interest of mine is photography. I don't know anything about what I am doing, but if I take a whole lot of pictures a few will come out nice. I love going places. One of my favorite places to visit is Ashville. We went there earlier this year and we had a blast. Right now I am just living day to day and enjoying every minute of it.
