..( At the moment I am finishing some music-projects that I work on, and the songtracks will be updated in short time. )I live in Bergen in Norway and I am 35 years old. I started to play violin and piano at age 8, and I've played guitar since age 10. I have been playing many different styles of music, from jazz-rock/ fusion, progressive instrumental guitar-rock, to straight jazz. After a few years of playing mostly progressive solo-guitar, I started to focus more on improvisation, and to write more jazz music. I have also been given some private guitar-lessons to beginners, and group-lessons couple times, here in Bergen. At the moment I'm teaching kids in music-school on guitar, keyboard and some percussion. The last 9 years, I have been working with saxophonist & singer Jørgen Åkre, collecting some jazz-matherial for guitar and saxophone, like bossanova and old jazz-standards. I listen to groups and musicians like Dave Holland and Keith Jarret, to get some inspiration, and to be able to learn some of the techniques from improvisation in standard jazz, to more abstract composed jazz-music. I still work on some music-projects which I started on years ago.
