Allan grew up in a small town called Zaanstad near Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where he was raised by his Slovakian mother and Dutch father. They always supported him in making music his living. After studying at the pop/jazz department of the well-known Conservatory of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) he received his bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance in 2000. Next to that he founded music production company GEMINI Music and started working as a backingvocalist/keyboardist for many big national and international artists (a.o. Oleta Adams, Jocelyn Brown, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Candy Dulfer, Ruth Jacott, Jan Smit, Jeroen van der Boom, Ron Moss a.k.a. Ridge Forrester, Gordon). In 2004 he was signed at Universal Music Publishing as a songwriter, writing hits for several big local Dutch acts like 'Do' - top 10 hit, 'Ch!pz' - no.1 hit for 5 five weeks, 'Idols' - top 20. In the beginning of 2006 the first international break was a fact: the song '1001 Arabian Nights' (Ch!pz) became a huge hit in Germany (3), Switzerland (2) and Austria (2). After that Allan cut songs on a.o. German pop/rock artist Sandy (No Angels), German superstar Yvonne Catterfeld, Belgium Idol Udo and the most succesful dance act at the moment, Cascada (album sales exceeding more than 1.000.000 copies worldwide, platinum UK). The last three years Allan co-wrote songs with a.o. Per Aldeheim (Nick Carter/Def Leppard), Jeff Silbar (Kenny Rogers/Bette Midler), Magnus Fridh, Michael Garvin (J-Lo, George Benson), Michelle Leonard (Nu Pagadi/Mike Leon Grosh), Nick Manic (Ch!pz), Mozart & Friends (Monrose/Jimi Blue), Michael Jay (Kylie Minouge/Celine Dion), Tjeerd Oosterhuis (Total Touch/K-otic), Christian Neander (Selig/Echt), Han Kooreneef (Marco Borsato/Within Temptation), Patric Jonsson (Westlife), Novel Jannusi & David Clewett, Natasha Thomas, Sandy Moelling, Tony Cornelissen (Di-rect/Sita), 'Jock-E' Bjorklund (Holly Valance/Dannii Minogue), DJ Manian (Cascada), DJ Yanou (Cascada), Vacuum (Rachel Stevens/Alcazar) and Niara Scarlet (Sugababes). After working as a staffwriter for Universal Music Publishing for 5 years, Allan decided to start his own independant publishing company called SONGKITCHEN. At the moment Allan is expanding its musical horizon, focusing on writing/producing and publishing 'hot' tracks for local & international artists in different styles, ranging from pop/dance to pop/rock and pop/urban.
