About Me

I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY FRIENDS TO ADVERTISE ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY THEY CAN MAKE...THIS IS COMPLETELY SELFISH AND I AM NOT THAT PERSON AND WILL NOT CONDONE IT!!!

I will accept most any other friend request...but if you try to advertise on my page; you will get deleted. ============================================

I am currently working at "Taos Mountain Electronics" in Taos New Mexico. I am in charge of the Home Theater Retail space there. Writing bids for folks, and working at selling A/V systems. I am enjoying this and will most likely stay at it.

I am also a new member of Taos Search and Rescue Team...I just joined so it will be a bit of time before I am qualified to do a great deal of stuff; but I should expect to be in "on-call" status by the summer of '07.

I am a RPCV (Returned Peace Corps Volunteer - Ivailovgrad, Bulgaria 2003-2005)

I am a RCCV (Returned Crisis Corps Volunteer - worked with FEMA on Hurrican Katrina Sept 2005)

best way to get to know me is read/listen to/view my website... http://www.djscotoman.com
and my new "YouTube" page

My Interests

I love the outdoors: do/will do/have done anything in the outdoors.

I am a bit of an adrenaline junky.

Some things that I have done with my life:

Rescue Team in Colorado - Now I am on Rescue Team here in Taos

PADI Rescue certified SCUBA Diver

White Water Rafting (on Class V+ Rivers)

Hiking, Mountaineering, Backpacking

Rock Climbing/Rappelling

Camping; love company to go with me; alone is a bit boring :)

Love to Skydive but have only been once - don't have $ to do it more; but I would go in a second

There are so many other things I have done with my life...too many to list here.

One thing that only my friends know is that I have worked with over 4,000 species of animals in my life

Now I guess you are also one of my friends ;)

I am quite creative. Some of my creative avenues are photography, I remix music, and I am a published poet.

By trade I am a film-maker/cinematographer But now I am in charge of a Home Theater Retail space for a company in Taos New Mexico, (Taos Mountain Electronics)...I am really enjoying it here; I have found a home...we here in Taos have a saying,

"The Mountain either embraces you or spits you out."

...I was embraced and have loved every minute of it. ==========================

I'd like to meet:

Cute, friendly women who are down to earth, creative, not afraid to travel, & not afraid to "live" life.

Must be willing to try new things, even some outside their "comfort zone".

Must be open to new ideas - willing to seek compromise...But no compromising of the important things...you know what they are.

Good communication skills to talk about anything/everything with me.

I want to meet folks who love life.

Music:

I don't like RAP or "Chalga" ("Bulgarian modern folk music" for best description)

I will listen to any other style. I listen to everything from Dance/Trance, Female singers, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Hans Zimmer...as long as it is not Rap or Chalga; I don't care. I need to be able to find enjoyment in it, which is very easy for me to do...I love very many things and am easy going.

Movies:

I have two film degrees and love to make and watch films. I do not like "satanic" or "bloody horror", films that when you watch them you feel "dirty" for having seen them.

favorite genres: Historical Epics, Epics, Adventure, Thriller, Comedy, Drama, Romantic...almost anything that has some value of entertainment.

Television:

"24" is a Must - (plan the schedule around it), and I like "Lost", "DayBreak", and "Heroes"...now a days though I don't watch much TV...DVR's are great :).

Books:

These days almost everything I read is for research of some sort or another. Don't get much time for recreational reading.

Heroes:

What is a hero anyway?, "someone you admire"...admiration is something I have for way too many folks to list here. If I had to choose some to list they would be my "GLOW" gals, too see how they are working to make their country in Bulgaria a better place and to see how they are working to make themselves better people is fabulous.

My Blog
