l'ange lapine had her first painting show at glastonbury 2005 followed on the 3rd november 2005 at the charing x gallery, and then in january 2006 by her photographic show at the michael hoppen gallery which received rave reviews. l'ange lapine is the anagrame for anne pigalle and a slight spoof on the very famous poster of le chat noir, the first ever cabaret in paris. l'ange lapine means the rabbit angel. l'ange lapine is the painter/photographer alter ego of anne pigalle.
