The bITjAM's are FREE entry because we work hard to keep it that wayAudiocongress
The Audiocongress is the band consisting of Bigun (Vocals, Ableton, synths, percussion, guitar), Philsy (Synths, bass guitar) Matt (Bass guitar, MS-20 synths and main engineer) Carl (Guitar, Synths, Ableton, Reason and Reaktor)
There's a fair mix of playing styles in the Congress, Philsy's classical keys and synth lines mixed with the 5 string funk bass or pure analogue synth bass from Matt the Commander, there's Bigun who's pretty much adaptable at most things including synths, vocals, soundscapes and Carl who kind of plays blues lead lines, synth noises and live sampling.
The Audiocongress set
Each set is improvised depending on the occasion, in some smaller gigs the minimal set up makes use of ableton, reaktor and reason on the laptop, however in the long playing sets there's much more hardware involved and live sequencing going on.
The Workshops
We have now commenced running workshops for the Stoke Youth Service and are currently taking requests for more. We have provided a website with an introduction to the workshops and also to look at what resources are available around the internet.
