About Me

Ok so who is Rygar? Well some of you know me already, some more than most. I am a soul living in the South East of England. As you may have noticed, I am rather keen on computer generated graphics. I am always looking for ways to expand my skills and area of knowledge. I am very young at heart, always looking to find the sunshine in the rain. Very philosophical and trying to find my own form of Zen enlightenment. I can be a hopeless romantic at times, in fact I have been told that I wear my heart on my sleeve, well I guess if nothing else, it shows I have one. By nature I am a pacifist, however I love Martial Arts, both the philosophical and discipline requirements.
All the images you see on my site, are my own creation. I trust you will respect that if you use them on your own page or for your own use (in other words please give credit where credit is due). Some people have said that my work has dark overtones to it, that may or may not be the case as i feel that art is emotional and subjective. Most people have seen the works of Van Gogh or Damien Hurst, in all respect to them, their works do nothing for me... the same as a picasso... just funny doodles on a canvas. But look at Botticelli or Michaelangelo those are emotional works.... a piece of the artist resides in every stroke. I am in no way comparing myself to the great masters, i wouldnt be so bold. but like them my work has my heart and emotions in them so you will see colours based on my feeling at the time.
Unfortunatly i was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. To say this has had an effect on my life would be an understatement!!! On several occasions it has put my life at risk and caused those dear to me to be put through the pain of saying that final farewell. However im a stubborn sod, so it hasnt beaten me yet!!!! Currently I am not in remission, so i do expect to get sicker as the days go by, but thats the nature of the beast im sorry to say.
