Cat lives in the Netherlands (at the moment), a small country with a big mouth in international politics. You might not realize that the country is only slightly larger than the state of Maryland (US), or that more than 40% of it is well below sea-level. All Dutch children are taught how to swim as soon as they can walk - should the dykes ever break, at least they'll have a better change of surviving.
Despite the name, Cat has an immense liking for sailing, swimming and being in or near the water in general. Hopefully she also has nine lives, and intends to live all of them to the fullest extent possible.
