About Ãvan Kári Sveinsson ************************************************************ ******************* Graduated from the London Film School with an MA in film directing. Written and directed couple of short films. Father Sveinn M Sveinsson is also a filmmaker and runs one of the oldest film production companies in Iceland. Started working for my father at the age of 14. Started of as a runner and then worked my way up into more responsible roles. After quitting my studies at the Art Academy of Iceland (Graphic Design) to concentrate on fimmaking I worked on different film productions such as the feature film (Art department) One Last Dance by Max Makowsky, starring Harvey Keitel as the villain. I'm now working on my debut feature film that will be filmed in London UK.
