I'd like to meet:

My ancestors. I got into geneology a few years ago, and was I surprised where it would take me. Since my gramma's maiden name was Wallace, I thought I would see if we were related to BRAVEHEART. Not only did it take us there but all through Europe and Asia, even Africa. Actually, it wasn't the Wallace name that took me to the most of what I found, but it was through my gramma's ancestry. I was thrilled at all the kings and queens, some who were good, some very bad. A lot of them were from the North country, Scandinavia, Norway, etc., It is told that the VIKINGS came and killed our kings, kidnapping our queens and women. I suppose that would make me descended from the hated Vikings as well. Other documents said ANTONY and the CAESARS were in our lineage. The CAPET kings of France were also in there, but it's told that half of Europe are descended from the CAPET DYNASTY. We found ANNE BOLEYN in our family tree, but not Henry, although we did find some PLANTAGENETS. KING HENRY VIII is said to have gotten his reddish coloring from the PLANTAGENETS. I could go on, but most of it is more of a curse than a blessing. For instance, I found NERO in our family tree. Thank God, we weren't descended from him though. We are said to descend from his mother AGRAPINA, who is descended from Caesar Augustus. Don't scoff, you may have some atrocious people in yours as well. LOL You never know which ancestor will be the one to lead you on a dreary or merry chase. For instance, RED SKELTON is a 4th cousin, once removed. Now that was a fun fact. We also found that we are descended from HERCULES. Who would have thought it? It was a little expensive, but worth it. Try it, you might like it. LOL

It's hard to say if I have a special type of music as there are so many songs I love. It has been here since even before man, so it really is beyond words, at least mine. At present, I love southern gospel and 60's and 70's style music the most, I think. :)

Heroes:

JESUS is my #1 hero. Then there was Joshua and Caleb. Noah was a great man of faith as well. As I said before, I looked up to my gramma. She outlived three husbands, worked as a nurse, midwife, and cared for a deaf son as well as many others in her lifetime. She was hired out as a caretaker of children at a very young age due to her mother dying when she (my gramma) was eight. She had to stand on a box and cook for people. She told me later that her stepmother was getting ready to hit her with a stick of stove wood, while she was ironing. Gramma had just taken a very hot flatiron off the stove. She told her she would brand her with that iron if she hit her. That was my gramma, all right. LOL I think I got my love of dolls from her as well as her knack of story telling.
