His Mercies are new every morning....

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Any friends I have met along the way but have for one reason or another lost touch with. Though I know that's the nature of things, I would like to keep as many of those roses that I can.

Music:

I love all sorts of music. I tend to lean towards the classic country, you know, like george jones, haggard, cash, nelson, jennings, etc? I like that stuff. I like old music period. I pursue roots music on my guitar, like old spirituals and mountain tunes and trail songs.

Movies:

I was unable to obtain grapics for the best movies ever made: A Mighty Wind, and O Brother Where Art Thou.

Television:

I watch pretty much anything on the history channel. I am a nerd, I know. I like vh1 classic, too. I watch the o'reilly factor on fox for a daily reality check. I have a weakness for King of Queens. Doug is hillarious. I like Raymond, too. Who doesn't? I will reveal here that my all-time favorite program is golden girls. Keep your comments to yourself please, lol. To each his own.

Books:

Have you ever read Babylon Rising by Tim LaHaye? It's a series and incredible.

Heroes:

Within the pages of the biggest best seller and most printed book ever on the face of the earth, you will find a character named Daniel. He is a model of self-sacrifice to reflect the glory of God. He stood at death's door on numerous occasions and did not falter. He never took credit for himself, but always pointed to the almighty. To many he was a humble hebrew slave, but to God, to me, and the rest of God's saints, he is a hero of The Faith, and one of the greatest men of God that has ever lived.

Sugar in the Dirt

It is not Osama bin Laden, Hamas, or Iran that troubles me. I am pretty sure that when the time comes to go head to head, we can take them. We have demonstrated the might of our military by rolling ov...
