SCARVENGER a été formé en octobre 2000 par Christophe SZYSZKA (Guitare-chant) SCARVENGER compose dans un style Old School Death Metal / Thrash tirant ses influences de groupes comme DEATH, OBITUARY, PESTILENCE , DARK ANGEL et la scène Death Thrash des 80/90's.
Depuis 2000, le groupe a fait plusieurs concerts en France et est passé par quelques changements de line up (batterie, basse). La place de bassiste est revenue à Will Hien , fin novembre 2004, suite au départ amical de Nicolas Sanson, occupé par divers autres projets musicaux. Dès lors, la machine a été relancée et le groupe s'est produit sur scène à de nombreuses reprises en 2005.
Durant l'été 2005, le groupe était entré en studio avec des membres de Disgust afin d'enregistrer 4 titres pour une démo pro, qui, sous l'impulsion du label Great Dane Records, est sortie le 14 décembre 2005, sous la forme d'un Split CD intitulé "Great Dane's Underground Serie - Vol 1 : DISGUST vs SCARVENGER".
Le 13 Mai 2007 , SCARVENGER officialise l'arrivée de son nouveau batteur , Christophe Dufour , les concerts et la préparation du 1er album peuvent enfin reprendre ...Metal 'til Death !!!

SCARVENGER was formed in October 2000 by Christophe SZYSZKA (Guitars-vocals) after he closed the activities of his previous band, Christophe played in other death metal bands such as KHROMADEATH (who recorded several demos and a CD several years ago), INFEST (several demos too).
SCARVENGER composes in an Old School Death / Thrash style with a technical side taking its influences from bands such as DEATH, OBITUARY, PESTILENCE and the Death Thrash scene of the 90's.
Since then, the band has done several gigs in France and passed through some line up changes (drums, bass). Nicolas Sanson, who plays in other musical projects, decided friendly to leave his place in November 2004 to Will HIEN as bass player. As it, the machine toured in 2005 to spread its disease !
SCARVENGER recorded in July 2005 with members of DISGUST a pro 4-tracks demo, released on Great Dane Records in december 2004 as a split CD w/ DISGUST called "Great Dane's Underground Serie - Vol 1 : DISGUST vs SCARVENGER".
But in early 2006, the drumkit owner decided to leave the band for personal issues, and the band is still looking for a new drummer for playing live shows and recording its 1st studio album...
June 2007 , SCARVENGER find a new drummer , his name Christophe Dufour.Metal 'til Death !
