About Me
Not a bad idea if I do say so myself...
My name is Edgar, although now I go by Eddie. Since as far back as I can remember I've had a passion for horror films and horror themed television shows, starting with mainly Creature Features and Classic Universal Horror movies when I was younger. As I got older I began to fully admire these so-called "screen icons of horror", from Leatherface to Hannibal Lector. Their movies became an obsession for me, as I found myself memorizing every word, and knowing every body count. My half-brother Jack used to tease and pick on me about watching those movies, but I didn't care. I could create wonderful escapes in my mind where I could shut him and everything else out through the movies.
At the age of 18, I was severely burned on my hands and face. The incident occurred whilst I was trying to transform the run-down trailer park I used to live in, into a haunted house for the locals to enjoy. Apparently someone set fire to a pile of extremely flammable props and my whole trailer went up...with me inside. Like Hannibal Lector, I was forced to don a mask that covered up my mouth and nose. It was screwed into my jaw; the doctors said it was the only thing holding it all together.
Eventually I found a place where I could attempt to re-build my vision of horror in a quiet little Florida town. I was supposed to see my vision called "RUN" become a reality in an abandoned warehouse, the rules were simple, to quote Jigsaw: "Live or die...make your choice."
Before we could open, lets just say something happend. I don't like to dwell on the past but lets just say it wasn't pretty and involved RUN never making it the way I saw it. I'm still a little ticked off about the whole thing 5 years ago, but I'm sure we can square what happened one way or another...because now I'm ready to finish what I started, and wherever you hide, wherever you RUN... I.C.U.
"Our scars have the power to remind us that the past was real."
