From 1998 to 2002 Tyrell performed with various music groups in his neighborhood, volunteered his talents to his local church along with playing with Randallstown High School’s Symphonic, Jazz, and Marching bands. While the Percussion Section leader of the Marching Band in his junior year the Randallstown High Band won Morgan State University’s Homecoming Marching Band competition allowing them to be the only marching band to play at The Baltimore Ravens’ Pep Rally following their 2001 Super Bowl Victory.
Tyrell won numerous awards for his leadership and versatility, and performed professionally with the various Symphonic bands throughout Baltimore. Playing Timpani, Snare, Bass and other percussion instruments. The face of One-Nine Productions, is an up and coming Music Producer, Composer, Recording Engineer, and Song Writer. Primarily known for his work in Spoken Word, the Baltimore native producer is creating a buzz on the poetry scene, and is surely bringing a new sound to the music scene. Currently working with artist from Baltimore, Virginia, Atlanta, and New York, his most recent contribution was to Sabrina Gilbert’s debut album titled Come Get Me dubbed “the best album in spoken wordâ€.
