MEMBER OF SUPREME SOUL. Supreme Soul are an electronic music project from Lisbon Portugal, composed by Tiago Dias, João Melo and Susana Nogueira. The three members grew up under different kinds of music styles, which makes Supreme Soul a band of great originality and diversity of sounds: progressive house, tribal, electro, jazz, pop, etc. They released several tracks in Portugal, and played in the best known portuguese discos, winning the respect of all music lovers with powerful performances. In live acts the band uses a computer, a laptop, two grooveboxes, a synthesizer, electric guitar and live vocals. In the last year Supreme Soul finally achieved one of their purposes: releasing their work through an international label. They did it with Play Recordings. In the beginning of 2006, Tiago and João created their own label, Absent Records, to release and promote their music and other talented artists. They also have being working on a demo with 11/12 tracks, very electronic and pop, trying to bring to light their first album. MEMBER OF ABSENT RECORDS.Absent Records is a brand new Portuguese label based in Lisbon, brought to light in the end of 2005 by Tiago Dias (Nyam) and João Melo (Luxor), both members of Supreme Soul, an electronic music project. Our goal is to release proper music, mainly focusing in house and its subgenres, offering djs and listeners quality tracks for every moment, mood or circumstance. We deeply believe that our values are transparence, innovation, quality and passion, so therefore absent's music is at least worth a listen. At the moment, Absent Records is working only with the digital format, but in the future, the label will expand its activity releasing 12" and licensing tracks to music compilations.
