Born in 1979, grew up, listened a lot of hard and dark stuff in my teens in order to become "smooth-music-with-a-bit-of-jazz-in-there-somewhere" man. When I make music, I'm trying to make something neutral and peaceful... deep bass and interesting ambient textures in loops. There is certain attachment to sound of piano (and rhodes piano) inside of me, so I use it a lot.My first "official" steps were released on "Future Sound of Prague" compilation series. One of the most important moments was when Pork Recordings choose Quaterhead for their "Dub Plates from the Lamp" compilation, which helped to support an idea of releasing CD. The CD was finally done in the summer 2002 when Prague was under water (500year flood!) and got a name Polytea.
Polytea is now available through Tamizdat . V cechách a na slovensku Starcastic .After that I worked on production&sound of Bratri Orffove : Bingriwingri and it came out quite interesting IMO ;-).Now in autumn 2006 I'm once again thinking about doing some music, after beeing one year out of my studio studying in Barcelona. I feel that my next release is going to be influenced a lot by that year.Videos:
