I live in Chicago and teach people how to fly aerobatic and military aircraft from World War II and the Cold War. Life is good. The most important thing in my life is the love of an amazing and wonderful woman, Beth.
My flight time includes over 2,800 hours of flight time in over thirty types, including over 2,000 hours in tailwheel aircraft, 1,600 hours of aerobatics and 2,000 hours of instruction given. I hold experimental aircraft authorizations in the Aero Vodochody L-29 Delfin and L-39 Albatross and used to fly a Ju-52 for the Commemorative Air Force. Currently I'm Chief Pilot for Gauntlet Warbirds (www.gauntletwarbirds.com) based at the Aurora airport outside of Chicago. Gauntlet provides aerobatic, unusual attitude and tailwheel training in their Decathlons and Extra 300 along with warbird instruction in their T-6 and L-29 Delfin.
