BooMBiP..s mind was also intrigued by his brother that was a neighborhood DJ. This fascination allowed Bip to study the art of music and also the art of Turntablism. He listened to Hip-Hop legends like Kool DJ Red Alert and Funk Master Flex which was the beginning to his musical inclination training. He used the sounds from the radio to train his ears. Using this tool is where his style began its creation. Using a pair of Numark turntables, he was still able to practice blends and scratches to the best of the turntables ability. While roaming the streets in his neighborhood E. Elmhurst Queens, he linked together with Beat Battle Champion Artwell Smart in which he introduced him to Mista Sinista of the x-ecutioners. In an interview with BooMBiP he states that ..This was a turning point in my life. I was blessed to come into contact with such a gifted and talented DJ... Sinista quickly realized Bip..s potential and began training him; this is where his style really began to change. While Sinista was on the road touring, BooMBiP spent many hours practicing on his own and with another one of Sinista..s protégé..s DJ Percision (currently with the x-ecutioners). After attending numerous battles and musical events, Bip now had the knowledge to venture of by his self. After saving up enough money to finally buy Technics 1200..s, he achieved titles in Battles such as Guitar Center, was appointed to Chief Engineer of the radio at Fairleigh Dickinson University, and began to network with many people in the industry. He then began to focus on studio work and the club scene while holding his roots of Turntablism. During the year of 2002, he worked with greats like Grand Wizard Theodore and Kay Slay teaching at the world famous Scratch DJ Academy located in Manhattan, New York City. Bip noted that a turning point in his career was teaching ..Jam Master Jay..s son.. because it allowed him to realize his importance in the Hip-Hop community. During the years to follow he Deejayed at many venues including Webster Hall, The City Night Club and The 205 Club, showing his skill besides greats like EPMD and Large Professor and opening up for a large list of artists including Inspectah Deck, Pitbull, Tres Coronas and Black Buddafly. His scratch work on Sinista..s ..Break U Off!!!.. is noted by fans world wide. Mixtapes, studio work, shows of all types, parties and showcases all fall in Bip..s genre of work. BooMBiP is currently working the streets hard and producing numerous mixtapes which will be released during the upcoming months. Scratch work and show appearances with many artists will also be expected by him. Those who are aware of Bip..s presence have a huge anticipation to his role in the music industry.
