I was raised in Milwaukee but have also resided in West Memphis, Greenville, Oklahoma City, and Chicago, I am the third child of four sisters.I began rapping at the age of twelve. I started battle rapping at recess and after school amongst my peers. As my gift was noticed, I got persuaded to enter school and community center talent shows. My style of rap is considered southern but very unique. I rap about life experiences, based upon what I have been through or what I see others go through. My topics are sometimes political, religious, economical, and social, just dealing with my everyday social environment. I like appealing to the club scene, the streets, children, and everyone else that enjoys the beauty of music.I've had the name D-Smooth for some years. Since I've matured I've became Mista. However, St. Louis has become my home. I've been through too much to mention but to sum it all up, through it all I have managed to maintain my Freedom. Therefore I've became known as SmooTh Louis.
