"...I grew up with a lot of music in my life. From Rock to Reggae to Metal to New Wave to Classical to Hardcore Punk to Jazz... All music has something to discover... I learned a lot listening to film soundtracks when I was a kid as well. I also appreciate sound design and the pure magic that goes into making sounds that affect the listener emotionally. That's an incredible art form in itself. For me, electronic music is so satisfying because you can create every single element yourself. You aren't just capturing sound, you're generating it; refining it. Geekalicious stuff like that is another reason why I love making this music!"
Sounds Like:
charlie eisenhardt is inspired by many different artists & influences. His sound is always changing & evolving. One track might be mellow while another will be more banging. "It depends on my mood. I definitely lean towards cinematic, trippy soundscapes when I'm creating... But those elements can be part of any sound, any song..."
charlie, (aka 'eisenhart') likes many different artists and genres of music.
"If I had to describe my 'goal' when I am making music, I would have to say that the sub-conscious desire to capture what inspiration feels like, is pretty high up there... I don't know if that is even possible. But when I create music, I think of those magic little moments where, as a listener, you just get pulled into a place... That place is what it's all about. It's as close to feeling magic as one can experience (without drugs, of course.)
I want to make the listener feel like they were adrift in a sunset. Or riding the current of the city at night. I seem to have these inspiring cinematic images as focal points when I am making music."
