Myspace Layouts I am a 38-year-old medical transcriptionist. I work from my home over the computer, and I love what I do. I set my own hours, have good benefits, and I'm my own boss. I get to work in my PJs if I want (which I do most days 'til about noon, anyway), and every day is different. I've been with the same guy for over 14 years, married for over 10 of those years, and he's about 8-1/2 years YOUNGER than I am. (Yep, Im a Cougar - LOL). We have no kids, but we have a Jack Russel named Skippy, and she's spoiled rotten. I'm close to my whole family, too close some might say. My mama and my sister Cindey, as corny as it sounds, are 2 of my best friends. I enjoy hanging out with my hubby (we try to have a 'date nite' at least once or twice a month), and I luv doing things with my girlfriends. We try to go out to lunch together when we can, and it's a blast remembering what we did back in the day! I JUST LUV U GUYS!!! I try to keep in touch with old friends from high school who I treasure and luv a lot, but it's hard sometimes with all the miles and time between us. I think of them often, though - Cheri, Trina, Michelle, and Angi; at least I get to talk to you and see you from time to time! Thank God for that!! :0) Dana and Paula (God rest ur souls - You don't know how many times you come into my mind & how much I miss you!). Donnie, Denise, Nicole, Shaun, Chanel, James, David, Erica, Bobbi Jo... sometimes I really miss you guys and the fun times. Didn't realize it then, but those were definitely some of the best days of my life. Even with all the difficult things going on, you guys made it tolerable.I am the "baby" of 3 kids. My Mom & Dad were married for over 32 years when my Dad died in 1989. He had a heart transplant in 1984 and had a lot of complications from that. My mom remarried in 1993, and he's turned out to be one of my best friends. He treats my Mom like a queen, and he's really good to his extended family, too. I couldn't ask for a better stepdad. We lost my brother in 2004, also from heart disease and other complications. He was only 42. My family is getting smaller it seems, but I think the love we have for those of us who are left just grows and grows. We don't always agree on everything, but we always try to back each other up and be there for each other when the chips are down. I don't know what I'd do without them.Like I said, I have no kids, but I have a niece and 3 nephews that I just adore. I couldn't love them any more than if they actually were my own, and the bonus? If they're bad and get on my nerves, I can give them back...and I don't have to pay for their college education, which is a TOTAL BONUS!! Seriously though, I would love to adopt a little girl someday. I want to buy frilly dresses and paint her nails and put curls in her hair, etc. Maybe someday...hopefully.

I would appreciate it if you would take a minute and sign my guestbook. Just add a pic of yourself, where you are from and a little message if you like. Thanks a bunch! :-D
