NEW UP AND COMING R & B / POP ARTISTThis new and exciting singer/songwriter/entertainer from Brooklyn, NY born Victoria Riddick has been singing since the early age of 4 years old. Victoria who was influenced by frequent singing of her uncle, Andre Riddick who preformed with various established Gospel Choirs, also being encouraged to perform in school talent shows by her forth grade teacher Ms. Davis, she opened her up to her poetic ability and trained her on her delivery, always saying “there’s still room for growth”. Victoria’s family instilled in her the importance of education and during this journey of how to humble her self in all things that she gets involved with during her life. Her love and passion for music is why Victoria has begun to make a name for her self , in the music industry.Victorious began writing her own music in J.H. School. She began to open her talent to the art of rap in Jr. H.S. During H.S., She often would cut class on her hard weeks and sit in the school auditorium at the piano, writing music for hours. There, she studied vocal and theory, with Ms Corbett, for her first three years enrolled, who would push Victorious with trying to get her to appreciate the depths of her talent. Victorious worked with the Gospel Choir, assembled the schools first step team and newspaper club. Besides two of her teachers, Victorious was also motivated by established artist Brandy Norwood who has been her idol throughout her career as well along with a few others. Victorious states: “It has little to do with Brandy’s record sells and everything to do with her connection and dedication to create a master piece of every piece of material ever exposed to public ear.Victorious has performed at several well known venues in the New York City area and through the state of Washington D.C. along with other various locations. Also doing a special performance for Ruff Ryderz Bike Fest, She’s appeared on “Brooklyn’s Famous” Flex N Brooklyn and has had Radio airplay in Japan and the Virgin Islands, also has had airplay on Wah Gwan Radio and Von Fence internet Radio, she’s had done various show cases and to name a couple, a Benefit to Hurricane Katrina and SowReap 3NT Golden Mic Showcase. Victorious, with her many talents and versatile will and staying humble and positive also was a song writer for Wyclef Jean’s Newly signed Artist / Platinum Sound Studio, and did collaborations with P. Realla of (Floyd Mayweather’s New label). At the age of 15 Victorious has had two offers from record labels. Now with her growing into a more mature but still kid like heart, Victorious still ventures out to pursue her music career with writing for other Artist as well as pushing for her shine as a rising star. Her pastor encourages her to get the “know” and at this age she finally has “the know” that this is her purpose in life. You see as Victorious says “You see I don’t just know music I am music”
