About Me

MY MSN ID IS: [email protected]
Ok so what can i say about me. I was born and raised in Macon, Ga. I have a 17 year old daughter, Amanda. She's the best daughter in the whole world and I can't remember the last time we argued. She's a senior this year! I've been divorced officially since Sept 10, 2007. I've worked in the mortgage business for almost 20 years now. I have 3 dogs. My granddad died Oct 11, 2005 and I miss him a lot. I'm very independent and easy to get along with. My parents are still married to each other which is rare these days.
If I see a lost dog I have to stop and help it. I don't do any illegal drugs and I don't take any pain killers. I have a unique sense of humor, I'm unpredictable, and I'm the sweetest person you'll meet. I don't judge people and I don't like when I'm judged. I have strong political views but won't push my ideas onto others. I have a passion and deep respect for music of all kinds and where it originated. I have a huge crush on Steve Earle and I think he is the greatest songwriter to have ever walked the Earth. I play the piano.
My family is the most important thing to me. I do not take friendships lightly and I can keep a secret. I will speak my mind if asked and sometimes I talk too much when the subject interests me. I'm an incurable romantic and desperately hope that soul mates exist. I was immensely shy when I was young but not so much anymore. I'm a very picky eater and I've never tasted ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise simply because they stink. I've never drank a cup of coffee.
I'm not a real religious person but I am a Christian and do go to church from time to time. I'm beginning to question the motives of some of the regulars at church. I'm a homeowner, I cut the grass myself and I pay the bills. I prefer the ocean to the mountains but I hate laying out in the sun. I'm not into crowded beaches either. I'm perfectly content on a desolate beach looking as far as I can into the ocean. The size of it alone is humbling.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

If you want to keep my attention you've absolutely GOT to have a sense of humor. I'm not into the metro sexual type of guy...good hygiene and clean comfortable clothes is where its at. Neat freaks need not apply! Workaholics get far far away from me. been there done that...life is way too short! if you can only communicate by using the F word repeatedly please don't talk to me. but if you're genuine...if you're honest...if you're confident....if you know how to have fun...if you love life....and if your tall....click on the little message button over there! :) Update: I love MySpace! I have already met some wonderful people through this site and made some good friends. Sometimes you find something you didn't even realize you were looking for. Everyone on my friend's list has been so sweet and supportive to me. It takes patience to be friends with someone just coming out of a divorce and I thank all of my friends for not being too hard on me when I didn't seem too friendly. I feel great and I'm almost done picking up the pieces of my life and putting it all back together.
