Empty Spaces Theatre Company

About Me

The Empty Spaces Theatre Company (in association with DiDonna Productions) is an ongoing collaboration between theatrical professionals in Central Florida. Based on the principals of exploration, experimentation, and collaboration fostered by such directors and theorists as Peter Brook and Julie Taymor, it specializes in original works as well as revisiting and redeveloping classical pieces both for itself, and for other theatres. Created in 2004 by John DiDonna and Seth Kubersky to give an umbrella to their already existing multiple projects, the Empty Spaces Theatre produces theatrical works, corporate works, dinner shows (Rivership Romance), workshops, and most recently its first festival short film. Along with ongoing collaborators Kevin G. Becker (composer) and Anna DeMers (choreographer),as well as a developed ensemble of players and staff, the Empty Spaces Theatre Company continues to explore all facets of the theatrical arts. Upcoming projects for 2007 include an original work in Playfest 2007, ongoing Dinner/Show cruises, and 3 - 4 mainstage productions. For information on our past shows, current and future projects, or to contact us, please visit our website as well at www.emptyspacestheatre.org Our associate company, DiDonna Productions produces events around Central Florida throughout the year, including RESPECT CABARET on the Rivership Romance. For information on getting involved in either Empty Spaces or DiDonna Productions, please contact [email protected] or message us at this myspace.
