Being a hermit, becoming the crazy cat lady, shopping, and fixing up my house.
Anyone who knows me knows I'm not looking to meet anyone. If I were, I doubt I would find them. What I seem to find are guys who are lazy and immature. What I would like to find is a guy who can have fun but knows how to be an adult too... someone who can support himself instead of needing me to be his mama... someone who can enjoy both going out and doing different things as well as sitting home and relaxing every now and then... someone who is funny but not tring so hard that it becomes annoying... someone who didn't have to have addictions to feel complete... someone that can synchronize sleep... someone who has the passion and funds for travel... someone who would rather live a real life than pretend to have a life through movies, television, and video games... someone who knows the meaning of a faithful relationship... and he would have to love cats.
I have very eclectic musical taste. Some of what I like includes but is not limited to the following:
Morrissey/the Smiths, Interpol, Barry White, the Killers, Foreinger, the Lovemakers, New Order, Madonna, the Four Tops, Death Cab for Cutie, Journey, George Micheal, Pet Shop Boys, Dido, the Cure, Mary J Blige, REO Speedwagon, Hot Hot Heat, Marvin Gaye, Keane, Queen, Thrill Kill Kult, Depeche Mode, Def Leppard, VHS or Beta, etc. I have a weakness for love songs that a normal person would be ashamed of but I personally don't give a flying fig what y'all think about it. Power ballads ROCK!
..
Shawshank Redemption, 12 Monkeys, Nightmare Before Christmas, Breakin', Overboard, Dirty Dancing, Edward Scissorhands, Napoleon Dynamite, Fight Club, Office Space, Wedding Crashers, Benny and Joon
I know that the cool response here is "I don't watch TV" but I am not worried about appearing cool. I do watch TV. Sometimes I even watch those stupid reality programs. I don't believe people have to focus on being intelligent every waking hour so I do enjoy some mindless entertainment from the boob tube.
True crime. My favorites include House of Secrets, "I" the Making of a Serial Killer (or most anything by Jack Olsen), and many others. I don't understand the Ann Rule obsession though. I don't care if she has written hundreds of true crime books. I think her writing stinks.
