I love spending time with my family and my friends. I am deeply committed to both. Sometimes I feel like I need to be committed but that is another story.I am fortunate enough to have married the man of my dreams. I have known him for what seems like an eternity and he still makes me weak in the knees. I can honestly say that he is the most level headed, kind, charismatic man I know. And thank God he puts up with me! We have wonderful challenging children that make us laugh everyday and astonish us with the little things that we had long since taken for granted.One of the top ten experiences in my life was doing the 3 day 60 mile Race for the Cure in San Diego, CA. It made me acutely aware of the truly giving and loving nature of people. The people of San Diego were supportive, the course was challenging, and the Breast Cancer survivors were inspiring. Not to mention, we had bicycle cops riding with us! I would recommend it to anyone!The worst experience of my life just happened in May when I lost my father to a freak accident. My father and I were very close and spent many days and nights playing different sports. He taught me to be myself and realize that I am who I am and nothing else. He believed in helping others in achieving success. I hope I learned that lesson. It has been a journey over the last couple of months and I have finally come to the conclusion that there has to be a higher power at work. One day, I hope to understand it.So much for me.......
