About Me

Founded in 1999, The group CatBurglaz first came out in 2000 with an album called "Code 022", well received by the critics: "an original and progressive rap style" (Ici Montréal), "An innovative trio" (The Link), Claude Rajotte (Musique Plus) said: "As a Quebec Hip Hop product, there is nothing better, I loved their album, the sound is astonishing!". Recently, he also mentioned on his radio show of Bandeapart.fm,: "The music has made a step forward with L'Album Français !". Éric Parazelli wrote: A glowing future for the CatBurglaz with the power of attraction of their rap style, or else there is something wrong with the hip hop fans..." In 2004, CatBurglaz went for a French Hip Hop with "L'Album Français". A concert with Loco Locass (Canada Gold selling artists) and a few TV and radio appearances, and here they are with 'L'Album français - Prise 2".They are now working on a new album that will be released in 2007. In the meantime, D.Odz is producing and directing many music videos out of Montreal (dezodmedia.com), Dice B is continuing his radio host and acting career, while SunShan is working on his english solo album.a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.indi vidual&videoid=111873

Band Members: In 1999, D.Odz joins Dice B. and SunShan to form the trio. That same year, the half Italian half Quebecer from St-Leonard founds Seven Seas Entertainment with his long time buddy and manager Léonce Simard. Author, composer, entrepreneur and responsible for the last four videos of the group, including "Marche, marche", D.Odz has never a lack of imagination and creativity. His pen is behind all the French texts of L'Album Français - Prise 2. Two brothers from Haiti, SunShan and Dice B. grew up in Rivière-des-Prairies. At 12 y/o, SunShan was already a surprising rapper, rocking the mic with passion and skills. A tremendous freestyle rapper was born. Dice B., his older brother, has been part of the Hip Hop scene since the late 80's, first with the group called Jay Soul and the Souls Tribe. In 1994, he produced the first English hip hop album in Quebec, and start his career as a Radio host on Nuit Blanche 102.3FM, a show that became the oldest French hip hop radio show in America.
