Born and raised in Union City, New Jersey. GioVani found music to cope with his rough history and his disappearing father. His move to Charlotte in 2000 opened his eyes and he noticed how bad things were in Union City. Therefore, his music is made to relate to all of his people who have true struggles and never make it out of the hood. He wants to be an example, a role model and a voice for his hometown streets.
