About Me

“There are moments in ones life that mark time, who I was before this happened and who I am after. I have been afforded a lot of opportunities to create music and as subjective as it is some was good and some was not. My musical journey has been long, because it started at a very early age. I created two works in Nashville with some of the most talented players in the business period as well as being blessed to know and respect the best producer/engineer in the business. All of this brings me to now, who I am after all of this. I am currently working on material for my third album and it will encompass a musical style that is not as commercial as Nashville says it needs to be however it will be honest, true to my form and have a lot to say as well as a lot of issues that it deals with. I will always record feel good party songs because they make us all feel good. I find that it is theraputic to write and sing songs about real life issues that are challenging for all of us. We are all one in the end and my musical journey will tell the tale of what I know and how I feel. I am just like you so I’m sure some of these things you’ll relate to. Music business as it is has gone through a lot of changes and it gives artist a lot more creative freedom to make music real again and not just what corperate radio wants to feed you. Not that there’s anything wrong with todays successful artists, their success is well deserved, but it is time for something that sets a part, something familiar but different at the same time. It’s time for the return of the rebel, The return of musical expression in it’s truest form, it’s time for the return of the storyteller. The things that set Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams, Hank Jr, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and so many others apart. It’s time for well……..it’s time to let the music do the talking again!”
