This belief in Shirin; currently aged just 18, has seen her travelling to LA, California both in July and September to December 2007 where she has worked with producers as famous as Benny Cassette (himself an acclaimed Musician and Hip Hop Artist) as well as KC Porter and Sebastian Jacome.
Shirin has collaborated with Marcus 'Bellringer' Bell, of New York and LA and continues her connections with the US whilst working on her music throughout the UK.
In June 2009 BBC 1Xtra took Shirin's Track 'Insomnia' to the next level on the BBC Introducing Homegrown Show with a live interview and podcast to download.
The interest in this young talent is growing by the second.
With a Television appearance on ITV Meridian in 2006 Shirin's exposure has continued to grow with her songs being featured as 'Record of the Week' on Express FM who have also conducted a number of live interviews with different presenters.
Taking care of her vocals is a highly acclaimed Vocal Coach - Kim Chandler, who has also worked with artists such as West Life, Michael Bolton, Bjork and P Diddy, to name but a few. Kim featured as a Vocal Coach in Britain’s ITV popular Saturday Evening Show - 'Rock Around the Block' (see Links section on the Home Page). Through Kim's highly acclaimed methods and invaluable experience Shirin has expanded her understanding of vocal techniques.
Kim says of Shirin "Shirin has a rare vocal talent to be found in one so young. Shirin continues to support British Charities both in fund raising and awareness of the issues around their valuable work these are namely The Rainbow Centre - 'helping children with cerebral palsy' and Kidscape - a Charity that is set up to help prevent bullying and Kids a national charity working for disabled children. Shirin is also a Youth Music Ambassador for The Wessex Cancer Trust and works closely with them to plan music events and raise awareness in the Wessex area.
