What to say? I'm just me: very affectionate with a quirky sense of humor. Those I love - I love deeply and unconditionally. I try to have a balanced sense of optimism and realism. I'm one of the youngest forty-something people you will meet, your age is determined by your outlook and attitude. One of my strongest character traits is honesty - you will get the genuine article with me. I'm logical and practical, but don't mistake that for cold hearted! I'm an analytical thinker and learner. I tend to understand life and those around me by observing the details. I believe in taking responsibility for my own actions and emotions, my life is what I make it and not anyone else's fault. Independent - yes, I can take care of my own affairs. But the balance is my romantic sweet side! My biggest pet peeves are to be placated, lied to or treated like I'm not the intelligent woman that I truly am, hahaha! Hug me if you love me, because that's what I will do for the folks I care about.

My Interests

People, volleyball, foreign travel, dancing, reading, spontaneous fun, jogging, workouts and sewing. I love to bake tasty fattening things and give them away! Give me any excuse to dress up and go out with friends!

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with a positive outlook on life and an open attitude toward people. I'd like to meet someone who understands themselves, what they want in life and has the strength of character to obtain it. I want to meet someone who isn't intimidated by life, love and happiness. I'd like to have someone in my life who can make me as much a priority as I make them.

Music:

I'll listen to most anything except Country, that gives me hives! lol

Movies:

I like lots of movies, must have a plot, not just mindless violence and gore. I love a movie with underlying satire, foreshadowing and a twist in the plot that you just don't expect. Romance should be well done, not corny. Comedy should be understated, not slapstick. Too much to ask from Hollywood, maybe!

Television:

Don't own one. Yes, that's right. The only home in America without the mindless black box. From what I've seen at friends houses and hotels, I would have to watch reruns of Friends, Whose Line is it Anyway and selected movie chanels. Can't do reality TV!

Books:

Holy Bible for life direction. For entertainment, I enjoy well written Sci-Fi and Eric Lustbader novels

Heroes:

Jesus who inspires me with His unconditional love. Abe Lincoln who helped this nation past prejudice. Men and women of the military who daily lay it on the line for an ungrateful nation.
