Pant's Festival is the brainchild of Drew Dunnell, a talented singer-songwriter and an ambitious rock n roll wannabe. In 2004 he brought together some friends, Ku on guitar who previously had no experience but who has come on in leaps and bounds, and Matt on the drums who had learnt the drums a few years before but hadn't touched a pair of sticks for over a year.
After a few months of practicing and experimenting with covers, Drew presented the group with a few of the better songs he'd written over the years (which were comparitively shite compared to his new stuff). Since then, the bands skills and songwriting have gone from strength to strength, now they are looking for some gigs in order to attract an allegiance of fans.
We have recently had two additions to the band. Popa, a very talented guitarist from our high school, has slotted well into the band, forming a great guitaring partnership with Ku. Also, high profile young manager Gandy saw immense potential in the group and felt he had to jump on board, so we are glad very glad for his partnership. Gandy also developed a talent for playing bass so he is now not only the manager but the bass player.
