Oliver Meeks born 7-12-86 better known in the veg as the las vegas landlord has been in the game for a few years now. And is going extremely hard in the paint. He received his nickname once being known as the king of the city but...the title was all too popular so he was renamed the landlord, deciding who stays and who goes. Oliver who is not only known as the landlord to his music based fans but also by peewee to his loving friends and family he got his start in a local success duo called 4 much. The duo consisted of him and supa pat who is also a solo artist now. Tha landlord recorded his first song to lil flips game over remix at the hot spot recording studio. And its been history ever since.
Many people know the landlord not only for his solo success but also for the success of the label he reins over, the ever so popular young ballas ent. Which developed from childhood friends who all had the same dream. The dream to make it. Young ballas ent is often confused for many things that its not vs being praised for the wonderful things that it is. There are many different genres of artist who are signed to this label that peewee has worked very hard to keep together, some names that might ring a bell include b mase, diggs, the 2 realist, and lady west. The company even has an aspiring fashion designer courtney "yards" haywood who is the ceo of both woodworks and popbottle clothing lines. Both lines are featured in this magazine as well. To say the least oliver is a young black man headed in the right direction. He's a very positive influence for young males who need guidance.
Unlike most up and coming artist his songs are not restricted or even in the least bit focused on shooting, drugs, or mistreating women. He strays away from those topics. But. That doesn't mean confuse him as being soft or not worthy of his growing up in las vegas between comstock and lawry which is commonly known as the block taught him a lot. He talks some about these things in his songs, most commonly noted 100 bars which was on his last album. This particular song itself took the rap game to the next level. A full 100 bars nonstop that letup into his life and let the competition know that this is all of 1st grade to him. These successes bought him both wisdom and ambition. Peewee will be releasing his second solo album and is suspected to have more successes than his first album which also included a dvd that took you through a day in the life of the landlord, the ups and downs. It is safe to say...that the landlord is here to stay. Look out for more from him. And be careful not to get evicted.
