Eddie Moreno: Rhyme Spitting, Beat Boxing, Djembe
Luke Andrews is a dynamic and original singer, songwriter and performer.
Born in Toronto to top Toronto models, Francine and Robert Andrews, it became clear very early in his childhood that Luke possessed an almost innate ability to delight and entertain. He launched his musical career at the young age of six when he began to sing classic songs such as "Stand By Me" to his close friends, family, and his school. At the age of seven, Luke moved to Florida, where he continued to demonstrate his talent by singing in choirs and performing in lead roles in several high school musicals. However, after high school, Luke found his way back to Canada when he was accepted to the University of Waterloo, where he received a Bachelor of Science. It was at university that Luke realized that music was and always has been his true passion. He began to express his thoughts and emotions through his voice and through his guitar. And as his talent gradually appreciated, he began entertain crowds at city venues with his original songs and comedic improvisation. His versatile vocals united with his skills on the guitar help create a fresh acoustic pop/rock sound that both excites and entertains the soul. His influences include Sting, Boys II Men, andThe Eagles, but he is influenced by all types of music.
"I write about a feeling, what emotion can evoke at that time. Sometimes its a melody spawning the lyrics, sometimes its a thought from everyday experiences in my life." - Luke
Eddie grew up listening to Hip-Hop music and playing video games. He went to jail for awhile, then got out. He read alot of stuff on politics and guerilla warfare and now he's really pissed off all the time. He likes to scream into the microphone and when he doesn't have one he likes to scream into people's faces. He tries not too drink anymore because he says it just makes him angry. He also has a bad habit of lighting things on fire. In his spare time he writes poems that no one will ever read to candle light. He also thinks there is a ghost that lives in his car and usually will talk about it if asked.
Luke and Eddie met at their cubicles at an engineering company. They both have successful solo music careers but felt a collaboration was a natural next step. Their first session sparked at their other co-worker, friend, and current hype man's house, Rick Garcia. Their chemistry was undeniable and they have now coined their mix of pop-rock vocals, guitar, beatboxing, and rapping as "No Coincidence". They believe their meeting was somewhat of fate, hence it could not have just been another coincidence. The only way you can really experience their energy is to check out a live show and feel their music.
