DirtyRed hales from Chicago but now resides in Cali. His musical influences include Ice Cube, Dr Dre, LL Cool J, Rakim, Prince, Jay Z, Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Dj Quik, Eazy E, Big Daddy Kane Cool G Rap to name a few. He started his journey in Hip Hop being part of his High School crew then named TIP (Top Ill Posse). Composed of 4 MC’s one from Nigeria, two from Fiji and himself who was then known as MC Gage for his vicious freestyle. He brings to the table tight flows with a hot freestyle (a true off the head freestyle) and has a lock on the many faces of Hip Hop. He’s been writing his own flows for more than a decade and maintains the ability to keep it fresh. Not just another cookie cutter MC who merely fits the profile of the next cats mug shot but a true MC who’s not a gangsta but can keep it raw and gritty and then mix it all up and come at you like LL with something smooth.
