I'm a 44 year old single mom with a newly teen-aged child who still attends elementary school. I'm a friendly, good-spirited and outgoing person who enjoys meeting people of diverse backgrounds, hanging out with my friends and family and keeping my creative juices flowing. I'm a writer, poet and artist although I have not as yet attempted to have any of my works know or published (maybe someday). I have been employed as a Personal Care Aide for the past four years and I like the job even though it comes with many a perk, as well as a hassle. It's not the type of work that I would recomend for everyone because you really have to want to be in it and be completely honest with yourself about how well you like your job and what it means to you because you need to be real about it and not phoney beacuase your attitude and work values and ethics are going to reflect on you, so be true to the job and yourself. You get back what you put in. I have experience in many other career fields too though. Although I like television a lot, I really love and prefer my music. I like to travel and see and experience other places but, unfortunately, I haven't been lucky enough to visit that many places and probably never will, especially since I've never flown on a plane and I'm not absolutely sure anyone will have any luck talking me into getting on one either. I graduated from both Performing Arts and Bryant & Stratton College. I have only the one child, but I have plenty of nieces and nephews and a few on the way. I attend church whenever my schedule allows me or when it hasn't slipped my mind.
