I am a Social Worker who is recently married to the love of my life. I adore working with children and have chosen a career in which I hope to retire from. I have a very small family, however those closest to me know that certain friends (who know who you are) have been adopted into my family, and they are treated as such. I don't make promises that may potentially break, and I am loyal, especially to those who mean the most to me. I believe in telling the truth at any cost, and I expect that from others. I love music and being around people who love to laugh. I try to be the one with a quick joke. I love to smile and love to see that in others as well. I love sunflowers and daisies as they make me smile, even on the darkest of my days...

Music:

I love all types of music, I always have and always will. I worked in a music store for the best four years of my life. I gained an appreciation for very eclectic types of music. However, my favorites are Pantera, Metallica, E-Town Concrete, Shallows of the Mundane, Jimmy Smash, Life of Agony, Tori Amos, Hatebreed, and Van Halen. Many of my friends are musicians and I can't begin to tell you how much raw talent is out there . . . Support your local scene by going to shows and checking out anything and everything.

Movies:

I love comedy flicks. Some of my favorites include The Birdcage, To Wong Foo, anything Chris Farely (except that horrid nija flick he did), and of couse You've Got Mail. My other favs are Big Lewbowski, Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Bronx Tale, Goodfellas, Basketball Diaries, etc.

Television:

Huge Sopranos fan, Will & Grace, King of Queens, Anna Nicole Show.

Books:

I read alot of books pertaining to my work, however I have to say the Motley Crue bio was one of the best books I have read in a long time. I'm obsessed with Catcher in the Rye and I love Girl, Interrupted.

Heroes:

My Pop Pop, My parents, John (my husband), Mike Beato (he will always be a superhero to me, always), and anyone who is in the field of selflessly helping others.
