LDM (Latinos del Mundo / Latinos of the World) is an amazingly eclectic group of musicians whose style, although naturally Latin, are versatile and encompasses a world of pop as well as Latin and African sounds. Roman Rojas, the band's leader and producer, is a singer-songwriter who was born in Caracas, Venezuela but now resides in New York City. Roman is the main writer and producer of the project. LDM's songs can evoke poetic images of love or infuse the crowd with the care-free disposition and sense of humor of Latin culture. The creative range includes Dominican "Bachatas", Venezuelan "Joropo", African "Soukous": a ubiquitous international "melange" that has crowds jumping and dancing to the beat.
