This page is a tribute to my dear friend Julie...I wish we had had more time together. You were so full of life and such a complex female as we all are, but so in touch with yourself, never taking things too seriously. You came to me and wanted to build a website to show the "other" side of you...the beautiful woman you were, so much more than all the paid content work you shot for others and I remember how excited you were to see the results. I will keep your domain name of www.JulieRobbins.net to make sure that all the adult webmasters out there don't soak the web even more with the work you were paid to shoot and did NOT enjoy. Your site was a tribute to your beauty, inside and out to contradict all the porn that was "out there". The proceeds went to benefit your daughter for a time and now it redirects here to remain in your memory. I hope to one day tell her more about her mom, the "real" you and not the fantasy that was created by the porn industry. I want to tell her how detached you were from what you were doing and the TRUTH behind the industry. Such a short life you lived ending with such a tragic death and I miss you! _______________________________________________________ Julie Robbins, born Brandy Koontz, was a porn actress and feature dancer. She made over 40 films between 2003 and 2005. In September of 2005 Robbins died in a car accident after her vehicle struck a telephone pole. The vehicle burst into flames upon impact. Several witnesses tried to rescue Julie from the vehicle. The heat from the flames was too intense, although they did get the car tipped back over onto its side. Julie was finally pulled from the vehicle after the flames died down and the jaws of life were used to free her from the car. She was still breathing, but had burns over 100% of her body. The accident occurred at 2:15 pm; Aircare arrived within 7 minutes of the call and Julie was airlifted to Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she later died at 11:00 pm surrounded by her friends and family. It is suspected that Julie fell asleep at the wheel. She is survived by one daughter who was born in 1998. Julie was 26 years old.
