As a solo artist, I perform myself or with other musicians for certain events.
Influences: I've had the opportunity to experience the music of several decades, and like various styles and artists, from the late 1950's through today. I loved the vocal goups of the 50's and 60's with their multi-part harmonies, the classic folk and rock styles of the late 60's and early 70's, and the pop sounds of the 80's through today. Pop Country has been most interesting to me recently, since the mid-90's.
I especially had the joy and privilege of playing regularly with some great guys who are wonderful songwriters and performers, Dennis McCurdy, Mike Stowe and Hank Sobah of The Lonesome No More Band, as well as other musicians and bands on a periodic basis, including Dave Morris and Jim Thurner of The Kooks with Ukes, and Jack Knight and the Unsung Heroes. Also with my friend, Bob Krandel, who has backed me up on guitar for years.
