Sammie is one of the many hidden talents of our time being blessed with a voice that is just waiting for the world to hear, singing since early childhood she was a born star and didn't even know it yet. To Sammie music was always a way for her to escape the ups and downs of any girls life using song as a way to comfort sorrows or express the positive moments of life. Sammie surrounded herself with many musical influences from artist such as Aretha Franklin to Celion Dion but not only for inspiration but she looked toward them as mentors.
Through Sammie's childhood she placed herself in front of many musical challenges, whether it was one of the many talent shows she performed in or some of her great accomplishments as an act in local fairs. But like any other girl her age Sammie strive to work at her writing and vocal abilities but also faced any musicians reality of prioritizing what really mattered in life and that school, family and friends and growing up would always be first but knew that somewhere down the line her dream would be the reality
As she grew so did her musical ability's landing her at an audition for American idol only to be let down that she would need more development before she would become the next pop princess. Sammie did not let this get in her way she continued to move forward. In 2006 Sammie decided to create a music page to promote cover songs she had recorded at home in hope that someone would give her the chance and guidance and the development to make her a national recording artist.
Then her dreams were now going to become a reality after John Farley AKA Johnny Ray partner and producer of DBJR Music Group one day stumbled upon her page and new that there was something he needed to hear more of, he reached out and spoke with Sammie and shared some ideas and thoughts and there was an immediate connection at which point Johnny new that she would be his next big project. Time then was a huge obstacle to begin making Sammie's dream come true, Johnny had to hold off development and production until she would finish school and work around her everyday priorities.
Now going into 2008 the time has come and her development has begun and Sammie is now heavily involved in the creation of her new unique image and sound which will translate into standout performances, She will be working from Tennessee and Pennsylvania writing and being produced with Johnny Ray and Slimm Jimm "CEO" along with Vocal coach Larry H of DBJR Music Group for her first single which yet is to be named but is anticipated for a Dec or Jan 08 release.
Sammie is set to show that she is not just blessed with the celebrity looks, but also has the talent and drive to distinguish herself from the crowd of manufactured pop and r/b artist's The blend of her vocals with precision harmonies laced over top rated industry production will give her music a sound that is remarkably distinct and addictive. The world is only at the beginning to have a taste of this sweet addiction known as Sammie.
