I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm in love with life: I'm studying to become a librarian, which is a natural choice for me given my love for books and my desire to make a living by helping people. I consider myself a member of a greater community -- the world. I enjoy the sciences and humanities. My worldview is guided and informed by reason and empathy, and as such fits many labels and draws from many different sources. I strive to grow as a person, to enjoy my life, and to make a contribution to the welfare of others.

I really like coffee and Star Trek, have a deep love for the music of Frank Sinatra, am given to gushing over Isaac Asimov's writing, and love comedies. I believe in celebrating life and humanity.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who know how revel in merely being alive, especially fellow trekkies, bibliophiles and those who enjoy learning. I may add more to this once time machines are perfected.
